METHOD FOR PREDICTING TUBULO-INTERSTITIAL KIDNEY DISEASE IN CHILDREN ASSOCIATED WITH HEMOLYTIC-UREMIC SYNDROME Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01N33/53

Abstract RU 2782125 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine, namely pediatrics and clinical nephrology, can be used to predict the occurrence of tubulo-interstitial kidney disease in children who have undergone hemolytic-uremic syndrome. To do this, a complex of indicators is determined in the blood serum by enzyme immunoassay: endothelin-1, cystatin C. With indicators: endothelin-1 of blood 154.68-180.86 pg/ml; cystatin C of blood 19201.65-22746.77 ng/ml, the occurrence of tubulo-interstitial kidney disease in convalescent children of hemolytic-uremic syndrome is predicted.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to predict the occurrence of tubulo-interstitial kidney disease associated with hemolytic-uremic syndrome, which contributes to the identification of children at high risk of tubulo-interstitial kidney disease and the timely appointment of preventive measures to prevent the progression of renal damage.
