FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biochemistry, particularly to a method for producing a bivalent bispecific antibody, which involves host cell transformation by vectors containing molecules of nucleic acids coding a first light chain and a first heavy chain of the bivalent bispecific antibody, and by vectors containing molecules of nucleic acids coding a second light chain and a second heavy chain of the bivalent bispecific antibody, host cell culture in the environment, which provides molecule synthesis of the bivalent bispecific antibody and molecule recovery of the bivalent bispecific antibody from the above culture. The above antibody contains a light chain and a heavy chain of the antibody specifically binding to the first antigen and a light chain and a heavy chain of the antibody specifically binding to the second antigen, wherein CL- and CH1-domains of constant regions are substituted by each other.
EFFECT: invention enables increasing the yield of the correct bispecific antibody by increasing the level of correct heterodimerisation of the wild-type heavy chains and modifying the heavy chains produced by crossing-over.
