SUBSTANCE: invention refers to using the strain Lactococcus lactis NCC 2287 (SL131; CNCM-I4154) and/or Lactococcus lactis NCC 2180 (SL60; CNCM-I4199) for producing an adequate edible composition. The above composition reduces symptoms of allergic reactions caused by food-borne, air or skin allergens in the patients suffering allergies caused by food-borne, air or skin allergens. The composition provides the considerable secondary prevention of the allergic reactions caused by the above food-borne, air or skin allergens.
EFFECT: above strains induce intense IFNγ and IL-10 secretion accompanied by IL-5 secretion inhibition.
