SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, particularly a method for stable integration of a linear nucleic acid molecule of interest into a plant cell having a cell wall, using a positively charged semiconductor nanoparticle. Also disclosed is a method for stable integration of a linear nucleic acid molecule of interest into plant material using a nanoparticle which is a quantum dot.
EFFECT: invention provides efficient and stable integration of a linear nucleic acid molecule of interest into a plant cell having a cell wall.
