FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry, particularly to methods of introducing a nucleic acid of interest into a plant cell having a cell wall. The methods include: reacting a cationic dendrimer and one or more cell-penetrating peptides with a nucleic acid of interest, contacting the cell having a cell wall and the obtained dendrimer structure, penetration of said dendrimer structure into the plant cell having a cell wall.
EFFECT: invention provides efficient introduction of a nucleic acid of interest into a plant cell having a cell wall.
