FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: sound-absorbing composite material contains a mix of thermally or mechanically fixed synthetic and linen fibres, at the same time it additionally contains aminoethoxysilane in the amount of 0.01-0.40 wt %, and linen fibres contain short and lengthy fractions of cotton fibre at the ratio from 2:8 to 7:3 wt %, besides, length of short fibres makes (5-29)·10-2 m, and length of lengthy fibres - (30-80)·10-2 m.
EFFECT: increased coefficient of sound absorption and dynamic mechanical characteristics of a composite material, provision of the possibility to use short fibres for production of non-woven materials.
