FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to the method for continuous production of synthetic gas by direct gasification of carbon fractions contained in oil-bearing sand and/or bituminous shale, in a vertical process chamber (2) with calcination zone and oxidation zone, where calcinated fractions rich in carbon are oxidized by oxygen-containing gas. Gaseous reaction products are taken off from the upper part of vertical process chamber (2), which is shaped as vertical shaft furnace, through which bulk material incapable of self-oxidation passes top to bottom continuously. Oxygen-containing gas (10) is introduced at least partially below the oxidation zone thus moving upward gas flow. Bulk material contains at least part of natural inert rock component of oil-bearing sand and/or bituminous shale. In reducing conditions added alkaline agents convert gaseous sulphur-contained compounds obtained at temperature above 400°C of oil-bearing sand and/or bituminous shale by means of chemical reaction into solid sulphur-contained compounds, which are discharged partially with gaseous reaction products and at temperature above 300°C are removed from gaseous phase by separation of fine materials.
EFFECT: method is environmentally friendly and energy-saving, at that large number of contaminated residues is not generated in process of its implementation.
