FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to generation of spectrum images. This invention consists in fact that imaging system has radiation source, which emits radiation, which passing examination area and part of individual in it; detector array, which detects radiation passing through area of examination and part of individual in it, and generates signal indicating it; giving recommendations based on parameters of volumetric scanning device, that recommends, at least one parameter of spectral scanning for 3D scanning part of individual based on spectral decomposition of first and second 2D projections, obtained using radiation source and detector array, wherein first and second 2D projections have different spectral characteristics; and console, which uses recommended, at least one parameter of spectral scanning for performing three-dimensional scanning of individual part.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of three-dimensional image obtained when doing computer tomography.
