FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: device for training vestibular apparatus in athletes comprises a rotary sleeve 2 with side handles 3, mounted on a vertical shaft 1 with the ability of displacement along the shaft 1 with simultaneous rotation around its axis. The shaft 1 in the upper part is provided with a suspension mounted on the beam 6 of the suspension frame made in the form of a neck 4 with a head 5. The beam 6 of the suspension frame is fixed with its ends on vertical brackets 12 and 13 rigidly mounted on the fixed support 14, at that one end of the beam is pivotally mounted on the base 12, and the other - at a setting bracket 13 with the possibility of changing the distance from the support to the place of its attachment. To ensure the movement of the shaft 1 with an acceleration the minimum required distance H from the support 14 to the point of attachment of the end of the beam 6 on the setting bracket 13 is a value equal to H = h+0.25L, where h is the height of the base bracket from the support to the point of attachment on it of the end of the beam, m; L is the distance between the base and the setting brackets, m. The beam 6 of the suspension frame is formed with a longitudinal through groove 17 along its axis of symmetry between the vertical brackets 12, 13 with the ability of placement in it of a neck 4 of the shaft 1, having a rectangular cross section and provided in its upper part along the axis of symmetry of the through hole 7 for mounting in it by the support axis 8 of the head made in the form of two identical radial bearings 9 mounted on opposite ends of the support shaft 8, each of which contacts with its rolling surface with a damping pad 18 which is located on the surface 19 of the beam 6 of the suspension frame between the vertical brackets 12, 13. On the beam 6 of the suspension frame in front of the setting bracket 13 there is a braking device 20.
EFFECT: enhanced functional capabilities of the device by creating angular and straight-line accelerations in the vertical and horizontal directions, which enables to increase the efficiency of the training process.
