FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining η-TiO2 nanosized modifications includes hydrolysis of titanyl sulphate in the presence of nitric acid HNO3 or perchloric acid HClO4 in 40-70 min at temperature 90-98°C without using a coagulant. Nitric acid is used in molar ratio HNO3:TiIV = (1-6):1, perchloric acid is used in molar ratio HClO4:TiIV = (2-6):1.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain nanosized titanium dioxide without using a coagulant.
