FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment. A device for detecting allowed connections of components of a system comprises a first component equipped with an identification unit, wherein an information unit of the first component is provided, and a second component functionally coupled with a control unit configured to detect and process the above information. The second component is a suction pump, whereas the first component is an accessory of the suction pump. The control unit is configured to allow a connection of the first and second components of the system after verifying if the first component is connectable to the second component with 'yes' response, or prevent the connection of the first and second components of the system after verifying if the first component is connectable to the second component with 'no' response. The control unit is functionally coupled with a barrier allowing or preventing the connection of the first and second components with regard to the above result. Disclosed is a method for detecting the allowed connections of the components of the system.
EFFECT: inventions aim to solve a problem of sharing the components provided the connection thereof is considered allowed.
