FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of temperature measurement. Molten metal temperature measurement is carried out with optic fibre, which is supplied to molten metal via a disposable guide tube. At the same time the optic fibre and the submersible end of the disposable tube are submerged into the molten metal with speeds of supply, independent on each other. A plant for measurement of molten metal temperature, in particular, molten metal, comprises optic fibre and a disposable guide tube, having a submersible end. At the same time the optic fibre is partially located in the disposable guide tube, besides, the inner diameter of the disposable guide tube is more than the outer diameter of the optic fibre. At the same time the elastic plug is located on the second end or inside the disposable guide tube, and the optic fibre is fed via the elastic plug. At the same time the elastic plug reduces the gap between the optic fibre and the disposable guide tube. The plant comprises a fibre coil and a supply mechanism for supply of the optic fibre and the disposable guide tube, at the same time the supply mechanism comprises at least two independent supply motors, one for supply of optic fibre, and one - for feeding the disposable guide tube.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of measurement.
