For the purpose of measuring, the microelectrodes are grouped by 4, including 2 outer microelectrodes and 2 inner microelectrodes. An impedance measurement device comprises the sensor connected to multi-frequency impedance measurement equipment. Using the sensor and impedance measurement device for determining the functional characteristics of the cornea.
