SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise reduction in the received multichannel FM radio signal and can be used, in particular in the stereophonic FM radio receiver. The device for suppression of noise in the received multichannel FM radio signal is presented as the received average signal and the received collateral signal, it contains the parameters determination module configured for determination of one or several parameters which are used as markers of correlation and/or decorrelation between the received average signal and the received collateral signal, and the noise reduction module configured for generation of collateral signal with suppressed noise from the received average signal using one or several parameters.

EFFECT: improvement of sound quality due to increase of noise suppression in the accepted multichannel FM radio signal.
