FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a first apparatus for communication with a second apparatus, to a second apparatus for communication with a first apparatus, as well as to a communication method and system. The first apparatus for communication with a second apparatus comprises: a receiver for receiving an ultrasonic signal comprising a first code from a source; an analyser for analysing the first code; a transmitter for transmitting an electromagnetic signal comprising a second code to the second apparatus; a controller for controlling at least a part of the first apparatus in response to analysis of the first code, and an additional receiver for receiving an additional electromagnetic signal comprising a third code from the second apparatus, wherein the transmitter is assembled to transmit another additional electromagnetic signal comprising a fourth code to the second apparatus in response to reception of the additional electromagnetic signal. Control of at least part of the first apparatus comprises controlling the mode of the first apparatus, wherein the first apparatus has at least a power saving mode and a power consuming mode.
