FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and is intended for measuring physical parameters of material, including at extreme temperatures. Method includes measurement of voltage of the probing signal in the output circuit of the primary converter filled with controlled material, whereupon the primary converter is made in form of long line leg. Voltage measurement is performed remotely, for which between the input of amplitude detector and the input of the primary converter include the first additional leg of transmission line, in which a progressive wave mode is created. Supply of the probing signal from the output of the generator to the input of the primary converter is carried out through the second additional leg of transmission line connected between them. Generator is reconstructed within frequency range and the frequency of harmonics is determined when filling the primary converter with controlled material and air. Using values of said frequencies, the moisture, composition and other physical parameters affecting material dielectric permeability are defined.
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring measurements at extreme temperatures, higher measurement accuracy, broader functional capabilities.
