SUBSTANCE: moisture meter comprises a metal base, which contacts with a controlled material with one outer side, a primary transducer, made in the form of a slit radiator, is formed on the base, a measuring cell, which is connected to the lateral edges of the slit in its middle part along the length, is installed on the inner side of the base. Moisture is determined by the resonance frequency, at which the input current of the slit radiator reaches a minimum.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of measuring the moisture of the controlled material with increased measuring depth, the design of the moisture meter has increased mechanical strength.
