FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of buildings and constructions against seismic loads. Vibration isolator includes a housing, a base in the form of round center plate, a spring and threaded sleeve to connect spring with vibration isolated object. Lower and upper spring stroke limiters are made of elastomer. In the axial hole of the lower spring stroke limiter there are two additional damping elements, one of which has the shape of cylinder-conic bushing and is made from polyurethane, and the other is located inside the first, has a cylindrical shape and is made of elastic mesh. Spring has cylindrical spring damper made from elastomer, for example polyurethane. On the cylindrical surface of the damper there is helical groove, evenly spaced to spring helical surface. Between contact surfaces of the damper and spring there is a layer of lubricant, for example, solid oil.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of vibration isolation.
