FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aluminium alloys and can be used in transport industry and related fields. 6xxx aluminium alloy contains the following in wt. %: Si 0.20–1.0, Fe 0.11–0.40, Cu 0.0–0.23, Mn 0.01–0.22, Mg 0.50–0.83, Cr 0.0–0.25, Ni 0.0–0.006, Zn 0.0–0.15, Ti 0.0–0.17, impurities up to 0.15, the rest is aluminium, wherein said aluminium alloy is characterized by a yield point of at least 100 MPa when alloy is in state T4. Proposed method comprises casting of alloy, ingot homogenisation, hot rolling to produce hot-rolled intermediate product, cold rolling, annealing, cold rolling, continuous annealing and heat treatment of sheet on solid solution.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at reducing defects of surface furrow of creation of more efficient methods of sheet material manufacturing.
