FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric power industry, and namely to insulating devices intended for attachment and fixation of lines of overhead transmission lines with voltage of 10÷220 kV. Device consists of a unit for attachment to the support, a rod composite insulating body (1) and wire (2) attachment point in the line. Assembly for attachment to support consists of flat plate (3) and rod bracket (4). Plate (3) is rigidly fixed on terminal (5) of insulating body (1), and ends of bracket (4) are tightened by nuts (6) in holes of plate (3). Device is characterized by simple design.
EFFECT: insulating body allows fixing the line at the specified distance from the support at gusts of wind of any intensity, since it operates as a spring, squeezing and expanding without damage or destruction due to use of glass-fibre reinforced plastic, which is included in its composition, restoring its initial shape and thus holding the loop in the specified position.
