FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ionising radiation particle detection. The scintillation radiation-resistant detector represents a working volume with mirror or diffusely reflecting walls, inside of which closely to the walls there is a polystyrene scintillator in the form of a plate with grooves on the frontal surface or holes in the plate, through which spectrum-shifting fibres stretch, one or both ends of which are joined to photosensitive surfaces of photodetectors arranged inside or outside the working volume, at the same time the scintillator and spectrum-shifting fibres placed in the working volume of the detector contain accordingly scintillation and spectrum-shifting additives that flash into the areas of wave length of more than 550 nm.
EFFECT: simplified technology of manufacturing of scintillation detectors with simultaneous improvement of their characteristics.
