FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring devices of neutron radiation by means of scintillation detectors. A neutron detector includes a photoreceiver and plates from transparent hydrogen-containing plastic, which are alternated with layers of material containing a scintillator and a converter of thermal neutrons; additionally, it includes a spectrum displacement fibre wound as one layer onto the end surface of the plates, the ends of which are optically connected to the photoreceiver.
EFFECT: improving neutron recording efficiency.
