FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to detecting ionising radiations using scintillation detectors. The technical outcome is achieved due to that, in a detector which has a scintillation optical element which is made in form of a rod coated in a light-reflecting shell, and a photodetector, at one face of the scintillation optical element in front of the photodetector there is light filter which is covered with a spectrum-shifting plate.
EFFECT: simple design, increased efficiency of a single detector.
