SUBSTANCE: claimed procedure for gas turbine engine combustion chamber fed with fuel supplied through the atomisers and provided with the ignition spark plug comprises the initial phase. During said phase the fuel is injected at the constant rate simultaneous with the spark plug activation. Besides, in the case of no ignition in the chamber at the end of initial phase, the second phase proceeds. During the second phase the injected fuel rate is abruptly increased by 20-30%. The phase of gradual increase in fuel feed follows, less intensive and less fast that the second phase.
EFFECT: higher reliability of ignition in the combustion chamber.
