FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the structures supporting the internals in the mass-transfer columns, and to the methods of such structures preparation and installation. The support beam supporting the internals is made longitudinally split to bottom and top segments, connected by the connectors in one or more longitudinally distributed positions. The said connectors are used to prevent lateral deviation of the bottom and top segments of the beam relatively to each other, and to transfer the load applied to the top beam segment to the bottom beam segment or vice versa. Due to the support beam division to the bottom and top segments, each of them can free pass through the manhole in casing of the mass-transfer columns prior to the support beam assemblage or after its disassemblage inside the mass-transfer columns.
