FIELD: heat-and-power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat-and-power engineering and can be used at pumping and throttling substations of heat networks. Delivery water, with the help of main-line pumps installed at a heat source, is directed to the pumping and throttling substation, where, in the supply pipeline, the pressure of water supplied to consumers is increased, while in the return pipeline, on the contrary, the gage pressure of mains water returned from consumers, is reduced in the throttling device in the capacity of which a hydraulic turbine is used. At that, the rotation of the turbine shaft is transmitted to the pressure holding pump impeller. In addition, a circulation pump installed on a supply pipeline is used consistently with the pressure holding pump.
EFFECT: technical result: ensuring of the specified pressure value under different hydraulic modes of the heating system with reduction of the installation dimensions and simplification of recovery scheme of energy generated by the turbine.
