METHOD FOR DETECTING LIQUID DISCHARGE INTO ABSORBENT ARTICLE Russian patent published in 2016 - IPC A61F13/42

Abstract RU 2577717 C2

FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: absorbent article comprises a sensor made with the ability to generate an output electrical signal which represents the moisture content of the absorbent article, in which the output electrical signal is received by the processing unit. The method comprises the steps providing the initial data of time, representing the liquid discharge; the data on liquid discharge are obtained in time in the form of an output electrical signal; the data on liquid discharge are analyzed in time relative to the initial data in time by the processing unit, and the event of the liquid discharge is detected, based on the analysis. The invention also relates to a system of detection of the liquid discharge into the absorbent article, at that the system comprises the absorbent article comprising: a sensor made with the ability to generate an output signal representing the electrical property, and the processing unit made with the ability to process the output signal generated by the sensor of the absorbent article. The processing unit is made with the ability to implement the method according to the invention, and to detect an event of the liquid discharge into the absorbent article, based on the method.

EFFECT: improvement of the method.
