SUBSTANCE: claimed spectrometer consists of ionisation chamber, set of electrodes, extra chamber for feed of gas flow to be ionised, ionisation source, generator of intermittent asymmetric-polarity voltage, compensating voltage generator, HF voltage source, expulsive voltage generator, ion collector, analytic clearance, ion registrator and gas purification system. Claimed invention can be used for detection of traces of explosives, gases and drugs in air, monitoring of contaminants in atmosphere, for control over food products by emitted evaporations, and for medical diagnostics by composition of inhaled air.

EFFECT: lower level of target substance detection in gas phase with complex composition of impurities.
