SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machinery industry. The cutting unit for a working machine comprises a primary and a secondary cutting unit. The secondary cutting unit is mounted on the rear side of the primary cutting unit and is a modular agricultural cutting unit with a plurality of cutting modules. Each cutting module has a shaft located horizontally and driven in rotation. On the shaft, there are cutting elements for cutting the crop material. The shafts of the cutting modules are arranged so that they are not overlapped in cutting width of the cutting unit.
EFFECT: due to quick installation of modules the maintenance of the equipment is facilitated.
