FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: scintillation detector comprises an assembly of scintillating fibres for detecting gamma radiation, slow and fast neutrons in the form of a ring, as well as two photodetectors placed at opposite ends of the assembly of scintillating fibres in optical contact therewith, wherein the assembly of scintillating fibres is in the form of one or more stacked annular layers with a common axis, the scintillating fibres are provided with light-reflecting covers and light-impermeable coatings and are arranged on a circle; scintillating fibres for detecting different types of radiations are placed in different annular layers; opposite ends of the scintillating fibres are optically connected to two photodetector arrays, the number of photosensitive elements in each of which is equal to or greater than the number of scintillating fibres.

EFFECT: providing spatial resolution of the detector.
