FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: gaseous helium with concentration of 99.99% is fed for suction into compressor [1], where it is compressed to pressure of 15-25 kgf/cm2. Helium is then fed into a purification unit [2], where it is cooled to liquid nitrogen temperature (77K) and purified from moisture, oil, etc, after which helium is supplied in unit heat exchangers [3], where is divided into two parts. One part is an expander stream (approximately 70%) expanded in expander [4] and cooled at same time. Second part - throttle flow (approximately 30%) cooled, purified from neon in neon adsorber [5] and is restricted in collection of liquid helium, partially liquefying. Part of helium or all of helium after neon adsorber with purity 99.9999-99.99999% along line [8] is directed to heater [9], then in compressor [10], where it is compressed and injected in cylinders [11]. Invention enables to obtain helium with purification from impurities above 99.99%.
EFFECT: obtaining helium purified from impurities.
