FIELD: chemistry; medicine.
SUBSTANCE: synthetic thermosetting resin is injected with 0.01-0.30 wt. % of carbon nanotubes. Then, the resulting composition is introduced into a polyurethane foam blank. Impregnated preform is heat treated in an atmosphere of natural gas. Heating from 100 to 600°C at is conducted at a speed of 70-90°C/h from 600 to 1000°C - at a speed of at least 300°C/h. This is followed by isothermal exposure at 1000°C for 2 hours. Obtained is a highly porous cellular carbon material with a porosity of 80-90%, density 0.2-0.4 g/cm3, with a carbon content of not less than 99.9%.
EFFECT: invention can be used for producing filter elements, adsorbents, catalysts, materials for bone regeneration.
