FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to connect contact parts by spot welding using a welding gun. Electrode welding tongs are in form of two angled rods. At end of first rod there is a shank for connection to other elements of mites, and at end of second - under removable device electrode. Longitudinal channels in said rods open into one another and are intended for coolant circulation through said channels. At end of second transverse rod there is a nest, separated from its end wall, to supply a coolant therein for cooling electrode holder installed in a replaceable hollow electrode. In second rod there is an additional longitudinal channel open into bottom of nest. In said nest there are sealing means formed by said nest and connection electrode.
EFFECT: cooled electrode holder has long service life due to minimisation of its heating.
