FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: first tube for cooling medium supply is installed in the longitudinal cavity of the electrode holder rod. The bolt for fastening the electrode-roller is made with the longitudinal cavity and installed from the shank end face. The rod longitudinal cavity has the conical shaped bottom, opened into the transverse window connecting the cavity of the first cooling medium supply tube to the bolt cavity. The first tube is installed with the rest into the mentioned bottom of the cavity through the sealing element, sealing the lateral clearance of the tube, which is connected by the transverse window to the shank cavity. The second cooling medium supply tube is located in the shank cavity and in the bolt cavity. The ring groove is provided on the outer surface of the bolt, and the ring grooves are provided on the outer surface of the shank, separated from each other by the ring ribs with grooves, shifted in the angular direction in the adjacent ribs. The ring grooves and sealing elements are arranged with the cooling medium ability to circulate in the cooling area.
EFFECT: invention increases the efficiency of electrode cooling and its durability, the electrical conductivity of the conical connection the shank-electrode is improved.
