FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pinch welder gun electrode adapter for resistance spot welding. The electrode adapter comprises two inclined stems with shank end for the pinches elements. The pinch welder guns are accomplished at the first stem end, and with the crosscut socket for the electrode shank. The socket is accomplished at the second stem end. There are longitudinal channels from shank ends sides. These channels are open one inside the other. There is a gapped tube for coolant flow in the thimble longitudinal channel of the second stem. At the thimble longitudinal channel bottom there is a secondary longitudinal channel that is open towards the mentioned crosscut socket and hollow space that is accomplished from the second stem exposed face side and lidded; at this hollow space bottom there are longitudinal side slots that are open towards the sideways clearance between the thimble longitudinal channel and tube that is positioned with its front portion at the secondary channel without the sideways clearance and without front portion protrusion into the crosscut socket for the electrode shank. The crosscut socket is accomplished with the crosscut slot that is open towards the stem secondary longitudinal channel.

EFFECT: socket and electrode cooling raise by virtue of ended socket walls multisided cooling, the electrode durability increases at the very least 1,5 times.
