FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electrode holder rod has the longitudinal cavity with the conical bottom, in which the coolant tube is placed with the lateral clearance. From the front end side of the electrode holder, the eyes are provided, between which the electrode in the form of the disc is clamped by means of the fastener. In each of the rod eyes, there are longitudinal channels to supply and discharge the coolant, which are connected together by the common transverse channel, located along the end of each eye. One of the longitudinal channels of each eye is connected to the rod longitudinal cavity at the conical bottom. Another longitudinal channel of each eye is connected to the lateral clearance of the electrode holder rod longitudinal channel. The coolant supply tube is installed with its front end stop into the conical bottom of the cavity through the sealing element, separating the coolant supply and discharge channels. The side surface of the electrode is made as multifacet.

EFFECT: disc electrode resistance increase and improvement of its ends connection electrical conductivity with the holder rod eyes.
