SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technique of combustible mixtures ignition using an electrical spark, in particular, to ignition systems, and can be used to control the ignition system and to evaluate their efficiency, the comparative evaluation igniting ability ignition systems in conjunction with ignition device, which are installed in the spark plug. Inventive measure the optical display of the plasma torch from the end of a candle fixed by the photoelectric sensor installed at a predetermined distance from the working face of the candles, readings of current, voltage, photocurrent recorded digital storage oscilloscope with current sensors, voltage and photocell, compare values flowing photocurrent with the given values and by comparing conclude suitability of the ignition system.
EFFECT: ability to check the overall health of ignition systems, both with the fuel supply, and without it, the comparison ignition systems, forecasting the most typical failures during the design, debugging and operation, check the volume of released plasma, determination of the visible light emitted from the source, the estimation range of a spark ignition (flame length release), exercise tolerance control ignition systems.
