FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to anaerobic membrane-type bioreactors and their operation for treatment of effluents. Claimed bioreactor closed tank comprises the membrane filter or is connected with external tank including said membrane filter. Biogas bubble is accumulated at the processing tank top section. Biogas is bled from the bubble and forced to membrane filter bottom section to produce the bubbles to decelerate the membrane fouling and to transfer them to the biogas bubble. Excess biogas generated at decomposition of effluents is removed from the system and used as a product. Biogas and fluid are kept in the system at the pressure above the barometric pressure by at least 10 kPa or more sufficient for a significant contribution into transmembrane pressure that causes the filtration there through.
EFFECT: lower power input.
