FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a complex for the enzymatic hydrolysis of polysaccharide substrates, a method for production thereof and use thereof. The complex comprises a backbone scaffold and enzyme components. The backbone scaffold comprises one or more proteins selected from a group consisting of CBM-c1-c1-d3, represented in SEQ ID NO: 24, c3-c1-c1-d2, represented in SEQ ID NO: 22, c2-c1-c1-c1, represented in SEQ ID NO: 26, or derivatives thereof, having more than 60% amino acid sequence identity in their cohesin molecules. The said proteins can be fused together through cohesin-dockerin interaction. The backbone scaffold also comprises at least four binding sites which are cohesin-binding sites, at least two of which have a substantially identical binding specificity. The enzyme components are bound with each of the said binding sites, wherein at least three of the enzyme components are different.

EFFECT: method of producing a complex and using the said complex for the enzymatic hydrolysis of polysaccharide substrates.
