SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a recombinant strain of filamentous fungi Penicillium canescens CS15 VKM F-4679D, secreting thermostable cellulase Cel48S from Clostridium thermocellum. The invention also discloses a method for culturing of the said strain in a particular nutrient medium. The said nutrient medium consists of 35 g/l of soybean hulls, 40 g/l of corn extract, 6 g/l of KH2PO4, 0.23 g/l of CaCl2, 0.3 g/l of MgSO4* 7H2O, 10 g/l of yeast extract and 10 g/l of wheat bran.

EFFECT: invention allows efficient production of cellulase from Clostridium thermocellum in a heterologous host Penicillium canescens.
