FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in automatic ignition furnace boilers of thermal power plants operating on gaseous fuel. Ignition method of boiler furnace with pulse laser discharge involves heating and ignition of gaseous fuel by feeding power pulse from laser source, laser beam is focused, initiating charge, according to the invention its focusing laser beam is in the plane of firing boiler furnace, the boiler furnace ignition device, optical system which is equipped with the first and second spherical mirrors mounted along the optical axis, the first spherical mirror is installed behind the focal plane of the focusing optical element while second spherical mirror is used as a focusing mirror, power of laser radiation source in the focal point of ignition zone boiler furnace provides temperature equal to ignition of fuel boiler furnace, the focal point is formed in the area of ignition of the boiler furnace by means of laser source, which emits in the infrared region, at the distance determined by formula F=L/2, where L is the distance from the main plane of the second spherical mirror to the plane of the ignition furnace of boiler.

EFFECT: technical result consists in expansion of functional capabilities of the method due to increased light intensity of used optical system.
