FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test of aircraft ceramic fairings for destruction. Method involves creation of excess pressure inside fairing. Preliminarily on fairing outer surface flexible perforated transparent cover is installed, inner surface of which is covered with adhesive layer, providing possibility of fixation of fairing fragments upon its destruction, and perforated protective casing, wherein space between external surface of said cover and inner surface of casing is filled with rubber material. Adhesive layer on elastic cover inner surface may be applied using bilateral adhesive tape. Rubber material can be used in form of balls.
EFFECT: enables possibility to reconstruct fairing destruction during pressure testing.
