FIELD: test.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground tests of aircraft (AC) elements, namely to methods of reproducing aerodynamic thermal action on head (fairing) of missile under ground conditions. Method of heat-strength tests of ceramic fairings includes radiation heating, power loading and video filming of outer surface of ceramic shell of fairing, in areas of stress concentrators powder-like coating is applied with degree of blackness sharply differing from degree of blackness of surface material of structure, besides, powder coating is applied without binder.
EFFECT: technical result of disclosed invention is higher information value when determining safety of ceramic fairings during heat-resistance tests.
