FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to jet cutting of workpiece. Method includes compression of fluid processing medium, extrusion from a nozzle to machined workpiece in form of cutting jet with cutting a workpiece, collecting waste processing medium, separation from treated material and fed to input of circulation of fluid processing medium. Fluid processing medium used is a conducting material in form of a solution of electrolytes or fused fusible alloy or molten low-melting metal. Electrically conducting material is compressed by passing at cutting jet of electric current and magnetic field.
EFFECT: result is minimisation of cut width.
