FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used in tooth gears. Gear wheel comprises a hub, a ring gear rim and a disc-shaped body having a thickness smaller than width of rim. At both ends of wheel there is a pair of rings having in their cross section shape of triangle. Outer diameter of each ring is equal to inner diameter of rim. Each ring by one of its outer surfaces, located on its outer circle, adjoins inner rim surface, covering it from end of body to end of rim. By its other outer surface, each ring covers part of surface of end of body adjacent to rim. Third surface of each ring is located at an acute angle to rim.

EFFECT: higher operational characteristics of gear wheel.
