FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gear transmissions. Lubricating device comprises an oil bath in which the gear wheel of the transmission is immersed, consisting of a disc-shaped body with a hub and a rim with a gear rim. Width of the rim is greater than the thickness of the body. From each end of the wheel, from the side of which the rim of the rim with the gear rim extends beyond the body dimension, along the vertical axis of symmetry of the wheel, a scraper is mounted radially to the wheel above the hub fixed to the base fixed on the wheel. Scraper rests against the inner surface of the rim and the surface area of the end face of the body adjacent to the rim. In terms of the end of the wheel, the scraper has the shape of a triangle, the top of which is located on the vertical axis of symmetry of the wheel and faces the hub. Surface of the scraper on the side of the rim is equidistant to the inner surface of the rim. Surface of the scraper facing towards the surface of the end face of the body, perpendicular to this surface, is concave towards the vertical axis of symmetry of the wheel and smoothly interfaced with the inner surface of the rim. Size of the scraper is not less than the size of the rim. Height of the scraper is not less than the depth of immersion of the body in the liquid lubricant of the oil bath. Under the scraper there is located an oil receptacle fixed on the fixed to the wheel base, equipped with an oil drainage tray fed to the friction zones of the transmission elements in need of lubrication.
