FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for thermal control of heat-generating components. Invention principle consists in the fact that the thermal interface material contains a layer of TIM, which contains activated shrink material, wherein the shrink material is distributed in TIM layer so that upon activation of this shrink material the thickness of TIM layer increases.
EFFECT: efficient heat transfer and maximised contact between heat-generating component and heat-conducting element.
