FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method of thermal processing of vegetable materials consists in fact that raw material is loaded into tube is moved horizontally conductively dried, pyrolyzed, gaseous products is condensed, obtained liquid fraction and non-condensed gases are removed, and solid fraction is cooled and unloaded. Novelty is that raw material displacement speed Vn in-pipe 4 is equal to wherein a is coefficient of thermal conductivity, m2/h; hav is averaged height elementary layer RM, m; (wherein de is equivalent particle diameter RM, m; η0 -coefficient of thermal conversion of RM). Device for thermal processing of vegetable materials includes pipe 4, heat source, loading means 5 of raw material, piston 3, chambers for drying 6, pyrolysis 7, condensation 8, cooling 9, unloading 10 of solid fraction, casing 11.
EFFECT: novelty is that drying 6 and pyrolysis 7 chambers allow varying their length depending on properties of raw material moisture content and temperature of gaseous products of heat source.
