FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method for obtaining olefinoxide. The claimed method includes interaction of initial flow, which contains olefin and oxygen, in tubular reactor in presence of silver-containing catalyst, where presence of water in catalyst layer is regulated in such a way that ratio of partial water pressure (PPH2O) and water vapour pressure (VPH2O) constitutes less than 0.004. Olefin represents ethylene. Method includes reactor for ethyleneoxide production, which contains multitude of tubes, in which production of ethyleneoxide (EO) is realised, section of EO output, section of CO2 absorber and section of CO2 output. In addition, the invention relates to method, which includes obtaining olefinoxide by the claimed method and its conversion into 1,2-diol, 1,2-diol-ether, 1,2-carbonate or alkanolamine.
EFFECT: retardation of rate of catalyst selectivity reduction in the process of its exploitation is achieved.
