FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine temperature of hardening of oil and oil products. According to the given solution the temperature change of the tested oil product placed in cylindrical barrel, designed to accommodate mixer is measured by coolant represented by a mixture of ethyl alcohol and liquid nitrogen. Cylindrical sleeve is placed in a heat-insulated reservoir filled with coolant and having the possibility of back-and-forth movement, tight fixation of cylindrical barrel with tested oil product and coolant feed. Temperature-dependent parameter is the rotation frequency of the mixer, and temperature of hardening is determined by diagram reflecting the dependence of mixer rpm on oil product temperature both when oil product temperature is below the curing point and when the temperature exceeds the curing point. Also a device for implementing said method is suggested, made in form of mechanical and measuring units.
EFFECT: high efficiency when performing express analysis.
